you do not need to carry stock if you don’t want to. many brokers sell directly from the catalogs. however, owning some inventory can help your business in several ways. fiirst, it will help you showcase the jewelry lines in person, which can help persuade someone to purchase – people like to touch and feel items like jewelry to evaluate quality and to see how it looks on them. second, keeping a small amount of inventory will ensure that you have some cash and carry items to appeal to the impulse shopper. items in the $20-50 price range are usually best to entice impulse shoppers! and lastly, you will be able to enjoy building and wearing your own jewelry collection and getting some free advertising at the same time! with that being said, we highly recommend that you purchase the deluxe starter kit.

you are not required to meet any sales goals, but if you do hit certain levels, you will be rewarded in bling bucks or cash. when, how and how much you work and sell is up to you. if you have another job and this is supplemental income for you, you can sell appropriately. conversely, if botd is your sole focus and source of income, your sales efforts will be more aggressive. either way, remember, the more you put into it, the more that comes back!

All of the jewelry you order comes at a deeply discounted rate and you decide your mark up. you can make a profit, or give it to anyone at your cost. you choose.

You can accept cash, check, or charge. you collect payment up front at your determined srp, and when you make the orders, you pay your discounted rate. paypal is an easy way to take credit cards without having to pay a monthly fee. they charge 3 percent on all orders. we will help you register for it if you like.

Shipping is listed on your consultant order form. it is $15 per catalog, regardless of how many items you purchase from each catalog. for example, if you order 2 or 20 items from a catalog, it will be $15 shipping. orders come to you anywhere from overnight to a week. please ask about specific suppliers for delivery times. if you have a smaller order, you can combine it with another broker’s order for a smaller shipping fee. all orders ship to your house and you distribute them. you add a small shipping and handling fee to your client’s order to pay for your shipping costs.

yes, new jewelry lines will be added occasionally when we find a great product at a great price. it is your choice whether you would like to add that line to your collection.

yes, many of the pieces have diamonds in them. the only thing you will not be selling is the center stone. there is quite a bit of schooling and experience need to sell loose diamonds, plus a lot of liability. if you have a request for a center diamond, you can refer it to a jewelr you trust or to tender loving carats. if tlc sells stone to your client, you will get $100 referral fee, and all labor fees will be done at cost.
